Hey! I'm Irina and I've been writing and telling stories since I was old enough to read. As a kid, I was inspired by classic authors like Jane Austen, Charles Dickens and Robert Louis Stevenson, immersing myself into the incredible fictional worlds they created. My Romanian heritage has always influenced my unique writing style, and allowed me to explore the realm of bilingual work. Currently influenced by Malcolm Gladwell and David Attenborough, I'm aiming to create more thoughtful and engaging non-fiction-inspired literature. 

Over my writing career, I've been fortunate enough to collaborate with the Calgary International Film Festival and Ivey Publishing.
